“Palingo” after the lottery! Plinko’s six-month-old in-shopping is four times more.

In the field of mobile gaming, the classic pooler playing the Plinko game is rising rapidly. The data analysis company Appmagic recently released the top 10 Plinko games list, based on the first half of the year of the Plinko game IAP (applied in-house purchase), emphasizing that this type has become a back-up show in the game.

The Appmagic report shows that the monthly IAP income for this sub-category jumped fourfold in just six months, 36 times more in the first half of 2025 than YoY (the same growth rate). The lead runner, Plinko Galaxy-Casino Game, which has earned US$ 322,000 and downloaded 1.8 million times since it went online in January 2024, not only reveals the viral transmission power of Plinko, but also provides a “low threshold, high return” business blueprint for developers. The Plinko game originated in the 1980s with the United States television programme The Price Is Right, and the contestants threw steel beads from the top of the nails and fell into different reward slots with random collisions with nails. The mobile version is upgraded to a free download + in-house mode, where players buy extra balls, multipliers or remove advertising through IAP to create a feeling of immersion in “luck + strategy”.

The pachinko in Japan is a Plinko game.

Appmagic emphasizes that the charm of Plinko lies in “one-key addiction”: short and fast play is appropriate for debris time, and social sharing mechanisms (such as the TikTok challenge) drive organic growth. In the first half of 2025, against the backdrop of a total revenue of $12 billion from IAP for leisure games, the Plinko class accounted for 80 per cent of the incremental share.

Top ten complete lists.

The top-up Plinko Galaxy-Casino Game (released from an independent studio) has been on line since early 2024, with a cumulative income of about US$ 322,000 per month, based on the fine vision and daily challenges of the Galaxy theme. The 1.8 million downloads came mainly from North America (45 per cent) and Europe (30 per cent), in addition to TikTok-style marketing. The Plink by Pokerist, produced by the Pokerist network, followed closely and was online at the end of May 2025, with only $260,000 in March and 977,000 downloads. Of this, in August, more than half (132,000 United States dollars) represented 76 per cent of the Plinko subcategory IAP that month — thanks to the cross-border integration and strong promotion of mini-poker games.

Among the top five, Plink Space – Drop Balls x 1000 came out with 12 million downloads, with a revenue of $109,000 and a “x1000 multiplier” attracting high-level players; Super Plinko: Crazy Drop (2022) managed to get $89,000, 403,000 based on random additions from “crazy patterns”; Drop Balls 1000x: Drop & Win went online in February, $650,000 in revenue + 3 million in downloads to capture Plinko’s fever. The second half of the region, such as Plinko Challenge ($23,000) and the old 2021 Drop Balls XY-Plink Balls x 1000 ($17,000), relies on renewal to maintain the long tail effect and in 2025 new people dominated fresh income. Appmagic analyses indicate that the 36-fold growth of YoY IAP in Plinko stems from the momentum of leisure games: the download of YoY in the first half of 2025 increased by 5.8 per cent, but the income was uneven – matching the 80 per cent share of the three categories of triple reduction, ultra-recreation and Plinko. Its “on-the-spot” formula is perfect for short-term entertainment, and the IAP model prefers impulsive consumption (e.g. 0.99 US dollars ball pack).
